Teacher Evaluation and Conflict Resolution

  • Work as Field Supervisor for McGill University, mentoring and evaluating pre-service teachers in Montreal area and Indigenous communities in Northern Quebec

  • Evaluated teachers as school principal and led them to collectively win Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence in 2022 as a teaching team

  • Published "Substitute Teaching in the 2020s: A Simple Guide"

  • Led restorative justice and mediation when resolving conflicts between students and between school staff

  • Coached staff on how to resolve conflicts with parents and caregivers

  • Helped garner $1,148,495.00 in funding through Jordan's Principle for educational resources for Kapawe'no First Nation Education

  • Had grant proposals approved by Farm to Schools, ISCA Equipment Grant Program, Breakfast Club of Canada, and Indigo Love of Reading Program

  • Speaking engagements at National Bank of Canada, McGill University, Montreal-based high schools, and First Nation schools

  • Published "Causes and solutions for the high male student dropout rate in Quebec: a research synthesis"

  • On Circle of Advisors for Impact Society, providing guidance on the development of a high school program focused on truth & reconciliation
